The Heart of Rationality

The problems of the current state of affairs can seem unsolvable. Endless loops and circling down in despair. Heaviness of mind as we realize more and more causes and effects of the suffering. The cold heart of rationality that gives us high tech medical technology, coffee machines as well as weapons of mass destruction. Rationality lives in the realm of measurement and needs no relationship with the soft animal bodies of the living. It can calculate value from a set of factors, but it doesn’t know value. 

But there is another realm present, we already live there we might have just forgotten. Here, the vastness and ease of human intelligence knows exactly what to do in each moment. In this realm we see solutions the rational mind can never see, because we recognise the vast potential of human being. Not by studying it like in cognitive science. By being it. Abiding here, the joy, the realness and the connection trickles down and sideways and in all directions into everything. 

Not like the trickle down effect that is the tale of capitalism. This is for real. 

And then we can use the powerful tool of rationality for the benefit of all.

And it’s on my mind: How do we translate this to our systems of education, our organizations our companies so that they align with the vast potential of human beings. And how can the change start in each of us while we wait for the systems to catch up. 🌱
